“In front of my home at the summer we have extensive sun linght exposure. I’m affraid it will damage the nest doorbell. Any experience with that?”

It seems to adjust for light and exposures. It has an infrared for night low light and during the day as the sun cuts across mybyard and its line of sight it adjusts to color and exposure. Never any BLAST OF LIGHTS. U also have a spot light that directly aims toward the front of my house lighting up the front door and entire facade... the bell compensates for this and it does not blind the camera at night, even tho the same flood burns our eyes when we open the door. Lol
