Push down on the outer ring twice, then turn to the air conditioning (cool) setting. Push outer ring again, turn to cool, then push one last time to exit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you push the thermostat in like a button, the menu comes up. Twist the thermostat left and right to find the Heat and Cool setting. To select, press the thermostat in. Best option here is to set the Heat and Cool range, so the house heats up if dips below your threshold and cools off if it goes above.

Once you do so, you'll see a list of options. Turn the dial until you can select "cool". Once selected, press the rim of the Nest thermostat again.
