• Yes me too. I bought two units. Named them Upstairs and downstairs. They adjust temperatures for their zones and work well. I can adjust them remotely and individually.

• I have two units also, one downstairs and one upstairs with two thermostat. I got two Nest and I believe its best to have two.

• yes, you will need separate thermostats for separate ACs/Heating units. We have two thermostats installed at our home. The App allows you to control each of these separately

• Yes, you need to have two thermostat, the wander of this is that you can control them with the same App.
