“Does this work with “Net Thermostat”? Or only just Net thermostat E and 3rd?”

• Has to be E or 3rd gen. I made the same mistake had to purchase a 3rd gen and now have all 3 sensors up and working.

• That's right. Nest Temperature Sensor is only compatible with the 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat, and Nest Thermostat E.
