“My Nest thermostat is wired correctly and works fine even without the battery installed. Why do I have to replace batteries every few months? Can anyone resolve this? Note: Licensed professionals installed the entire system in mid-2020.”

• I have the same issue, I installed it. I thought it was something I messed up. I even checked the wires at the furnace as suggested, everything is correct. Brian
