Great question, Lis. The Nest Wi-Fi Pro can cover up 2,200 sq ft per device. With a multi-story home, we recommend having one per floor to make sure you receive the best connection wherever you are. We also suggest a maximum of 5 routers for a single network. Adding more might be detrimental to Wi-Fi performance. Yes, you can add as many as you want. Each one will daisy chain off the closest and repeat the signal to the next one. I used eight of them in a large two story house because the construction did not allow the signal to travel through more that one wall. If you get the Wall Mount Outlet Holders, you can hang them directly to an outlet without needing a nearby table or leaving them on the floor.
