Yes, that’s what I did. During setup, you’ll be asked for wired or wireless option. Doesn’t matter if you buy the battery version.

Yes. It took me 23 minutes to install. 35-year old doorbell transformer, wiring and chime. Working great. But I also added a Google speaker to take to the back porch. And because it’s fun and cool.
