I have the same question and the answer should be YES. On the Nest Wifi product page, it does say that the Nest Wifi is "compatible" with Google Wifi. That could just mean though that only the Nest Wifi Points are compatible with the Google Wifi Router. I am hoping that I can use my existing Google Wifi router as an extender and replace it with the Nest Wifi router since it has a more powerful antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you go to the Google Nest Wifi support page, it recommends restarting your old Google Wifi router, and setting up as new with the Google Nest Wifi router as your primary router and the old Google Wifi routers as access points.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is backwards compatible... The Nest Wifi router and point work with previous generation Google Wifi.
