“I have a combo modem/router.from ATT. Can i connect a Nest router to this combo unit, or do I need a separate modem only?”

• If you’re looking to just replace the router, you will not need to touch the modem. Just disconnect the ATT router and but the nest one in. If you’re looking for extended range. Buy a 2 pack Nest router option for easier compatibility .

• We recommend setting up your Nest Wifi directly connected to your modem via the WAN port with an Ethernet cable and disabling the Wi-Fi functionality of the combo to avoid a Double NAT case which may cause connectivity issues.
