The Nest Wifi is a mesh network Wi-Fi system. The router and point work together to make sure your devices stay on the clearest channel with the most bandwidth. With mesh network, it helps provide all of your Google Nest products in your home with a strong and consistent connection. The additional parts for the mesh system do not need to be plugged in to anything beyond the wall. They are also Google Assistants with speakers so you can use it like you do with an Alexa. We have the router plus and additional 2 for our mesh system and we have outstanding coverage. We have started turning our home in to a smart home and have our clocks and thermostats all connected to the Google Home. We have not had an issue with speed or anything.
