Depends! i was a daily iphone user for a majority of my life but i swapped over to pixel a year or 2 back and it is not a huge leap of changes but you have much more freedom to do what YOU would like to do with it. It can be easier if you plan to just have a simple base os phone but it can get much trickier when u get into the customization of the os.
