I don't see how or why this would be the case simply because of the device itself. The Pixel is no different from any other phone with a data connection. I do not have an unlimited plan, but have seen no change in my data or bill (other than the standard device fee) from Verizon since I purchased this phone 2 months ago. I would contact Verizon to confirm, but again I'd be very surprised. The fine print may have something to do with how "Unlimited" isn't really unlimited any more and most of the carriers will throttle your data if you are an extremely heavy user.
