• Yes, I purchased the phone at Best Buy and went next door to Cricket and they activated it without any issues. I have seen reviews that state Cricket will not let you access wifi calling and hotspot from a non-Cricket purchased phone but I don't know that is factual as I haven't tried. I also have seen reviews that state certain other carriers also have this same policy of not allowing access unless you purchase the phone from them. Has not been a problem for me since I don't typically use wifi calling or hotspots.
