Q: QuestionWill my locked SIM card from a 5 year old LG V40 work in UNLOCKED Pixel 8 Pro and if so, will it then be unlocked? I have an unlock code provided by AT&T in 2021 but no access to another carrier's SIM to perform the unlock.

• A:Answer If you buy an unlocked phone and put your SIM it, it will still be unlocked. Why would they lock a phone that wasn't purchased from them? No contract so no lock

• A:Answer The unlocked phone is very plainly the better option. The only difference is the Verizon phone is forbidden by software locks to work on other networks. There is no real hardware differences, and you don't get a verizon SIM card with either.
