“If travelling to China with computer - assume it will not work as Google is blocked? Also note in prior questions one says "you cannot use Windows 10", another answers is "the only reason for i7 and more memory is if you are loading Windows 10"??”

FROM PIXELBOOK FORUM COMMUNITY: It gets very difficult when you are activating a Chromebook in China. Various data services require that the device be able to contact Google servers to function properly. If this is important to you, make arrangements with a VPN provider before you go and configure the VPN in your Pixelbook. There are several good ones that cost @ 5 to $10 a month. Use crossover app instead of windows 10. It works fine on i5 and no need for i7.
