absolutely not. I tried to use this for my Hero 7 black to record audio while im riding my bike and it didnt work at all. I plugged up my 3.5 headphone jack style mini microphone and it didnt work. Youll need to buy the actual gopro microphone adaptor to get audio with your microphone.
