The google setup works as the router. Just cancel your Wifi part with your provider and just use the modem iteslf. Most places charge for the Wifi part through their modem. I have Mediacom and did this and it works great and it’s way better than their setup. This gives you full power Wifi everywhere it doesn’t drop off between points.

Please try again later.It does replace the router in needs to go directly from the modem straight into the Google Wi-Fi first I personally bought the modem only and went into the Google Wi-Fi and it works flawlessly if you read up on it there are faster Wi-Fi is mesh out there googles is more stable I’m pulling 280 on my phone
