Everything can connect to the network once it’s up and running. You need an android device or IOS device to download the app for setup

Yes. You just need an android or iOS device to set up the network only. After that any internet enabled device can connect via ethernet or wifi.

It is a normal router and will connect any Wifi device. You just have to have an Android or Apple phone to set it up. You have to download a Google Wi-Fi app to set it up.
