According to google, the Google Wifi routers will work with the OnHub Routers. If you need better coverage in your home, you can purchase these to extend your coverage and they will all "talk" to each other. Google has made a page to help out those who want to add Google Wifi to their current OnHub routers. https://support.google.com/wifi/answer/7168220
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Onhub tech is 1+ year old. Google wifi is googles new attempt to address the good and bad things in their previous onhub routers. Without anyone reviewing this new router yet, my money says this is better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your OnHub and each Google WiFi device will be running identical software and have identical features. The OnHub is actually faster than each individual Google WiFi device (OnHub is AC1900 + dual core 1.4Ghz processor, Google WiFi is AC1200 + quad core 700Mhz processor). If you had, say, 3 OnHubs you could make the exact same "mesh network" as the 3 pack of Google WiFi. It would cost a lot more though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your better off with the 3 pack Google Wi-Fi. The TP-Link One hub is great but, Limited to access point bridging doesn't really work quite right.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the Onhub from Asus and like one of the Answers said, now they all do the same thing (not sure if the TP Link does it), you can use the Onhub and Google WiFi units as meshing units together.
