No way to tell without actual tests. If you're concerned about getting the best possible signal, get the 3 pack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd equip all 3 levels for the extra $50, you'll be happy you did! Really happy with these in our 3 level home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Google OnHub router that was on the second floor of our 3-story townhouse. I purchased a 1 pack to add coverage on the 3rd floor and still get decent coverage on the first floor. Just the OnHub gave less than stellar coverage upstairs on the other side of the house. If you can afford it I would get the 3-pack

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought two units for my 2 story home approx 2500 square feet. I hooked up my primary unit upstairs then checked my wifi strength at different spots in the house before unpackaging the 2nd unit. There was a noticeable drop in strength downstairs. The 2nd unit placed downstairs was necessary in my case but my upstairs modem and unit are at one end of the house. If yours is more centrally located with a more open floor plan it may be enough for you.
