If so, yes it will work, but you would have to use one as the router connected directly to the modem/router combo. The only way for the "mesh" network to work is if you are using the google wifi device or an "on hub" as the wireless router. You could just connect one to your network and have it provided the mesh coverage. For example, I have an ob hub router connect to the 2 in 1 uverse provided. I then connected the google wifi devices around my house to create a mesh network. The google wifi devices connect directly to the on hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have a Netgear modern and router combo. It works just fine all you need to do is turn off the router portion of the modem. Usually there is a button that does this on the front top of the modem.
