Connect it to your cable modem with the first, then wirelessly with any others you buy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am guessing you have an Xfinity modem? I would hook the Google to the Xfinity modem and hook the Apple Airplay to the Google router. You download an app on your smartphone and the setup is super simple. Mine took 5 minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This would replace your Airport Express router. Only Apple devices can connect to each other and form a meshed network. If you want to extend your current wifi network get another Airport Express or you could get an AirPort Extreme and make that your main base station and the Express a satellite one, if that makes sense.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can connect it to the Xfinity Modem / Router - Then you can easily setup several of these with just a power cable where you need signal. You will a need a smartphone or tablet to set them up, it's a mobile app (free). The Apple air device most likely will not relay how you want to do. You can however run both side by side but this isn't recommended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google WiFi routers can extend a network only if they have a wired connection to the main router. They can't extend a WiFi network like a repeater. However Google WiFi can do that by themselves. So if you had a G WiFi connected to your cable modem, it can extend its own network wirelessly. But not another routers network.
