• The router should work with any modem. I have not had any issues and have used mine with 3 different cable modems and one Fiber connection.

• Yes, any modem that has a standard RJ45 ethernet WAN port will work with the Google WiFi.

• Yes it will with the RJ45 port on it, I recommend upgrading to a Motorola surfboard modem that uses docsis 3.0 as most ISP are converting and old modems may start to not function.
