Plug the Google Wifi into your modem. On your existing router, turn off wifi and dhcp. Plug the router into the second port on the Google Wifi, and it will function like a switch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have connected 17 different devices to my Google router and extender. These include Computers, laptops, Printers, Smart Phones, SONOS system, Ring door bell just to mention a few. Everyone of these connet to my network like charm! no glitches at all. No dropped signals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I did the same with previous time capsule utilizing the additional ports md the drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would want to configure the Google puck to "Bridged" mode instead of "NAT" mode. That would effectively turn the Google puck into a wi-fi hotspot instead of a router (which you would already have with your existing router).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's exactly how you do it. Plug one unit into router and turn off Wi-fi on router. Then, add other units to the base.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think you can plug the Google Router to an existing router. You are trying to use the Google router as a booster to your existing router while having your printers hardwired to your old router. The answer would be no. The Google router offers only two ports. The main Google router will use one port to connect to the modem, while the second port can be used to do a LAN connection from one of.your printers. If any of your device have WiFi connectivity, you would have to use that option to connect to the Google Router. I am not sure if you can connect a LAN splitter to the Google router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. That's what I had to do as well. You will just need to get instructions for your specific router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I just used my old router as a port for all my extra items with no problems
