YES! Fios brought me their new "better" router and suddenly I didn't have internet through my whole house anymore. After A LOT of web research, I bought the Google Wifi system....it works EXACTLY as advertised! Super-easy setup, strong wifi signal, easy pairing. This is absolutely the best residential wifi system out there now. It will help with your WIFI speed - but it won't do anything if the speed coming into your house is slow - that's a different issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, you are essentially extending coverage of wifi with these devices to places with poor coverage. Just know that you are essentially chaining these devices together wirelessly, so you have to be mindful of how far apart you place them. also, "slow" can be a product of interference or bandwidth issues. make sure you don't overload one hotspot with 10+ connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. AT&T Uverse. I had the same problem before getting Google WiFi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chaxon0216, this will absolutely help. I had the same issue (two family home with three floors) with spotty signal, especially in rooms away from where the modem and router were. I distributed the devices around the home and we have consistent high speed everywhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely 100%, this will provide coverage, you have One main unit that connects to your modem, and two satellites you can place anywhere in the house. I have one in the living room one in the master bedroom and one in the kids bedroom and a blanket the house completely. I have problems with people falling off once they went upstairs, the problem is over. This is a good unit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is wi-fi limited in parts of your house because they're far away from the main router, or there are a lot of walls in between? If so, then yes, Google WiFi will definitely help. But it won't help if your download speeds are slow at the source (i.e., if your Verizon plan is limited to a slow speed, like 5-10 Mbps).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes because each node is a router when combined they form one gigantic seamless wifi network. it doubled my speed, and range...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I had the same problem. Great speed and signal near the router, but terrible signal in the opposite corner of the house. This solved that problem easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have EPB. My router/ modem came into the house in our office. On the other side of the house is our bedroom. We could not get a connection in there. I had 2 routers and 2 WiFi boosters in the house and had WiFi dropping off still in the bedroom. I bought the Google 3 pack WiFi system. We have 3500 + sq ft. In our house. I put 1 the main google router in the office, 1 in the living room and 1 in our bedroom. WORKS PERFECTLY!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. We were using our Cable Company's router in our three story, 4,000 home. We were having problems with the signal strength. We purchased the google "onhub" with three pods. We have one pod on each of our three floors. We no longer have a problem with signal strength. It was simple to install and only required an AC outlet. We did have a problem with it interfacing with our Heos sound bar on one TV. We solved the problem by using the Ethernet port to connect the sound bar to the WiFi pod.
