• In response to setting up this system over Verizon broadband. Should work. I set up google wifi on top of cable broadband without any issues.

• yes - you simply plug one directly into your router and it'll power the other 2, working like a charm.

• It acts like a router so you would still need to have a cable modem in your house to connect it to your Internet Service Provider.

• As long as you have a modem to connect it to it will work. So the answer is yes since you need a modem regardless of what ISP you have.

• Sure, if you have an available Ethernet out from your Verizon modem, these should work fine.
