Does this system have to be hard wired at all? null

One of the three routers has to be direct wire connected with the modem.

All devices have a standard 110v electrical cord that must be plugged in, but only one needs to be connected to your modem with an ethernet cable.

It does require at least one of the three routers to be hard wired to your modem, via the LAN Cable. The other two can connect wirelessly to the one router connected to your modem.

This system has to have at least one module hardwired to a modem.

The first extender had to be plugged into the Ethernet. None of the others have to have wires attached other than the electricity.

one unit is plugged into electrical outlet and hardwired to router via ethernet. other units only need to be plugged into an electrical outlet.

Only one puck has to be hardwired to the modem. Everything else just needs power.

Only the main unit. The others don't.
