Yes You can, I have FIOS and have it plugged into the router. I turned off the FIOS wifi and use this. It has a main and a guest just like FIOS

It works with our FiOS, but we turned off the FiOS wi-fi. So you don't have both the FiOS wi-fi and Google wi-fi on at the same time. We were told that could reduce the effectiveness of the Google wi-fi.

Yes you can use it with the Fios gateway. If your current gateway is providing wireless you will want to turn it off.
