• This can be used with any router or modem. You just plug the first one in to your existing router or modem by Ethernet cable.

• This system is in fact a wifi router. That's exactly what it is. Maybe your question was whether it can be used with any modem. If that is the question, the answer is yes. This is not a modem, it is simply a wifi router. You just plug one of the discs into the modem and then place the other discs at various points in your home and they all "bounce" off each other spreading wifi throughout the house. It is a great system, we love it.

• Works with my AT&T issued router flawlessly, acts as wired in hotspot and regulates traffic flow. Solved SO many speed and connection problems. Best thing I ever bought wifi
