Yes. I had a similar set up with an extender and this is hands down better. I get better signal everywhere and my house is over 5K sq ft and 3 floors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google Wi-Fi is so superior, it's laughable. Get the hours of fighting with setup back Go with Google Wifi!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Certainly this is a matter of opinion! In my opinion the Google WiFi is superior because it uses mesh technology to make all the access points appear as one, balancing the signal accordingly. If I'm not mistaken the WiFi extender is a repeater that just repeats the signal. Personally I have not had good experiences with WiFi extender but YMMV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Oh Google wifi by far is going to work way better because the units actually talk together and hand off the device to the other points. Wifi externders only really take a weak signal and send it out again as where this is intended to take a strong signal and spread it through the home. That's why three points are included.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would be better in that it is a true mesh network. Look at the documentation to see if it has the controls you want. It would replace the existing WiFi router and extenders. Google is constantly improving the interface and updating the firmware as well.
