• The three pack system would probably be overkill for your home size. Just buy a single pack and that would probably work just fine for you.

• You can always try to pull an unsecured wifi signal from a wifi hotspot into your home. You will always need a land line and a modem to secure your home network and get good bandwidth. If your router is good in your house- no need for a for new one

• You don't need a phone line for this device. You connect this to your cable modem to give you wireless access in your house. Then the other hubs wirelessly connect to them main hub to extend your wifi coverage in the house.

• You still need a cable modem. This may help with bandwidth if your exiting wireless router is in a far corner of your home. My home is 2300 square feed, and I could probably drop to 2 units with no issues.
