Hmm. Here's my best assessment. The Google Wifi Mesh will communicate with your internal devices as fast as those devices are able to communicate wirelessly. However, once the data goes past the Mesh and out of your house to the Internet, it will only be as fast as your internet connection allows. So, if you communicate internally between your desktop/laptop to another device that's also internal, it will likely be as fast as heck. However, the fast Google Wifi will be stunted as soon as it leaves your house if you have a slow internet connection. Hope this makes sense.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is just a WiFi router to get devices in your house to the modem. You still need the modem to get data from your house to the ISP. Dropping your plan would impact things like streaming multiple devices or gaming. If all you do is stream one device or just access internet for shopping, you can drop the plan to 10Mbps. If you do anything else, keep the 50 or find a plan in between.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, I don't think so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This just increases your range plus approx 10% lift on speed, should have no effect on your billing though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s not going to make your data consumption look like you’re using less. What it will do is add stability to your network which might result in better through put (speed)_
