Your wifi internet speed is limited by the maximum speed you get from your internet provider. So as you mentioned since you have 20 mbps speed, your internet speed is capped at 20 mbps. Google routers' are capable of speeds up to 1.2 Gbps. If you share devices connected to this network, they will be able to "talk" to each other at higher speeds as long as the device supports it. e.g. file transfers from one computer on your wifi network to another connected to the same network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't. You can only get as fast Internet access as your Internet service. The Google WiFi devices will theoretically connect to your end device at speeds up to 1200MBps. However, your modem and your Internet service will not support those speeds. The 1200Mbps speed would be useful if you have a media server in your house where your movies were digitally stored. That way you could stream from your media server to your wireless devices at those speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you might mean Mbs this does not up your speeds, i currently pay for 100Mbs download and 10Mbs download and this supports it no slow downs. But you might want to look at a different ISP provider to get faster speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would only get the 1200 mps on your home network between devices. Your connection to the Internet would still be 20 mps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just because it is capable of transmitting at a rate of 1200Mbps does not mean that it will. The speed is ultimately dependent upon the speed for which you pay. Seeing as how you pay for 20 Mbps you will most likely get roughly 20Mbps depending on your set up and the quality of your modem.
