• You can download GoPro quick for both computer and mobile. Also GoPro Splice. They both work good for edits and they are free.

• My husband used Adobe Premiere Pro, but the "Light" version should work as well. Adobe Premiere Pro is a monthly subscription. Adobe Premiere Light is an over-the-counter software.
