• Yes, GoPro cameras can be used in salt water and fresh water. The HERO12 Black can be used on its own down to 33 feet. If you want to go deeper than 33 feet, there is a protective housing that you can use. If you do use the HERO12 Black in salt water, it's always a good idea to rinse it off with fresh water after use.
