Even without a remote control though, you can control certain functions (including starting and stopping videos and taking photos) without touching the camera. The first is to use the voice commands feature that allows the HERO12 Black to respond to commands like "GoPro start recording" and "GoPro take a picture". Another option is to pair the HERO12 Black to a smartphone using the Quik app. Once paired, you can use your phone to control even more functions and settings on the camera.

• A:Answer Ted, I bought my go pro hero 12 just about 3 weeks ago. I’ve yet to experience any problems with it. Maybe I have to have it longer but as of today, no problems what so ever ! Hope this helps a bit.

• A:Answer Drains battery so fast I don't imagine it'd ever do well as a dash am. You'd have to make sure your charger cable to the car is also no data or it'll lock itself to sync mode thinking the car is a computer. Look elsewhere for dash cams.
