no, you need to charge the battery connecting the camera to power source

It does not come with the charger block. It only comes with a short usb to usb type c cable that plugs into side of the GoPro

No external battery charger is included. Batteries can be charged in the camera body via USB, but the optional, accessory battery charger (which includes two additional batteries), is a good idea for extended use.
