With the HERO12 Black, for example, a fully charged battery should last about 70 minutes at the highest resolution and frame rate, and could last nearly 2.5 hours at lower frame rates and resolutions. GoPro cameras do not require wifi to record. They can be used nearly anywhere - whether there's wifi around or not.
