- Answer It is designed to protect the actual lens not waterproof. That being said GoPro does not recommend the use of protective lens under water.

QuestionWill this fit onto the Max Lens Mod that can be installed onto the GoPro Hero 9? Just wondering how to protect it

- Answer These are designed specifically for the MAX and will not work with the HERO9 Black or with the Max Lens Mod. You can keep the lens cover on the Max Lens Mod when it's installed to provide protection between shots, but there is not a cover that is designed to be used while recording.
