Are these rated to be used outdoors? null

They aren’t rated for outdoors in the sense of putting on a light post that gets hit with water and other outdoor elements. However, you can use them outdoors in or under protected conditions. I have mine on our front and back porch and patio. Both areas do not have roofs but the bulbs are protected inside of the outdoor rated light fixtures. So they aren’t bothered by the elements. They work just fine in the cold and heat.

Hi LJ, this bulb is mainly for indoor use with smart control. If using outdoor, we will suggest you cover it with some waterproof protector.
