• A:Answer They aren’t rated for outdoors in the sense of putting on a light post that gets hit with water and other outdoor elements. However, you can use them outdoors in or under protected conditions. I have mine on our front and back porch and patio. Both areas do not have roofs but the bulbs are protected inside of the outdoor rated light fixtures. So they aren’t bothered by the elements. They work just fine in the cold and heat.

• A:Answer Thank you for your question.If you want to use voice commands through Alexa, you will need to link the Govee Home app with Alexa APP first, then you can name the Govee devices in the Alexa and use voice commands to control it.
