“I can easily slide a battery into this charger, but how do I release it from the charger? It doesn't slide out unless I pound on the butt end of the battery. Is there some kind of release mechanism, or should the battery simply slide back out?”

Hi SomeGuyFromOrting. Thank you for your question. There is no release button on the charger itself. Ensure the charger is on a flat surface, and with one hand hold the charger down and with the other hand pull the battery out. We hope this helped!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the charger isn’t held in place then it’s hard to remove a battery. Both just move around together. You can mount the charger - I haven’t done this yet. What I do is place the charger on the ground and then use my foot to hold the charger in place and pull the battery toward me. Slips out fine.
