Similar issues- mine would trip off every time I released the wand trigger while using an outdoor rated cord, but fine plugged into the wall. Consistently using a wall outlet is not feasible for my washer application and I couldn't get another fix from Greenworks customer service so returned to the online retailer. An ELECTRIC pressure washer marketed as a gas powered unit replacement with these requirements is ridiculous. This should be a required consumer disclosure before purchase on this unit and featured prominently on every ad, box, and online description. Very disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine did not act right when I used an extension cord either it produces the power to the unit so you need to use the unit directly plugged into the wall or a higher gauge extension cord. Remember the long got the cord the more loss of electricity to the unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Len. Thank you for your inquiry. Try using the unit while it is directly plugged into the outlet without an extension cord. If the unit runs fine, then it may be your extension cord. Ensure you check in your owner's manual on the proper gauge required for the unit. We hope this helped!
