Will this fit model number PGP953? null

Hi Cindy - Model JXGRIDL230 is not compatible with GE Profile™ Series 30" Built-In Gas Cooktop PGP953SETSS. This model does not have a griddle controls. We do not recommend using a griddle on the units without the griddle control. Cast Iron JXGRIDL230 is compatible with models PGP9030SLSS, PGP7030SLS and JGP5030SLSS. Thanks for viewing GE! Sue
