With Survior Slim in place can the keboard connect? null

The USB and audio jack are always open on the sides.

That would depend on which keyboard you wanted to connect. If the keyboard in question is integrated into another case, then no, you'd have to remove Survivor Slim first. If your keyboard connects through the iPad's Lightning port, though, then yes, you should be able to connect that keyboard without removing the Survivor Slim. Hope that helps! ^MS
