• Yes, H&R Block will import TurboTax files from previous year. Both are similar programs. The big advantage for H&R Block is that they will provide more support if you are audited. TurboTax wants you to pay an additional $44.95 for support in case of an audit.

• Jeff - I made the switch 10 seasons ago (mainly because it is a less expensive). Turbo Tax may have had a more "elegant" interface (I use a Mac), but Tax Cut is intuitive and effective in preparing my returns. I do believe Tax Cut can import your previous year's Turbo Tax files.
