• Roaming is a function of your smart phone. with iPhone, go to Settings, Cellular, Cellular Data Options, Roaming, slide both Voice Roaming and Data Roaming to green. Overseas, turn off International CDMA. Android, go to Settings, More, Mobile Networks, Data Roaming Access, Allow Access for All Trips, Set Network to Global.

• As far as I know you can activate for Phone or wifi hotspot!
