Does the H6 come with a case? null

Yes, a hard plastic case that holds everything. I have seen a soft case advertised, but, I have no need for it. If I use mine for long periods out of the hard case, I put in in an old soft telephoto case for protection

Yes. It is great for carrying around the components that come with it. It is not a super durable case that you can be ruff with. At the same time, I have been carrying it around in my backpack without any issues. If you end up getting the shotgun mic or 2 extra inputs, modules, they will not be able to fit in this case. Thus, if you were looking to purchase additional modules, you may want to look into purchasing an additional case of some sorts. I carry my dead cat (furry) wind shield in the case: that additional component fits fine.
