I read in the manual for my new refrigerator (a full-sized different brand than yours) that the compressor might be affected by voltage variations of 10% or more. [My comment: This is something that might happen if the local utility company cuts back power in hot weather when lots of folks run their air conditioners.]

If you read the literature, it tells you how much space is needed for proper air circulation. This may be why yours is no longer cooling. I have plenty of circulation around mine, so I am NOT experiencing this problem.
