My door not unlocking started as an intermittent issue now it is after nearly every cycle. I found the magic answer yesterday 3/17/2024 on this website https://www.haier.com/in/service-support/self-service/20131114_102671.shtml. Turn off the power, unplug the power, open the access panel my 2019 machine has a ring hanging down, gently pull it straight down on the manual door release lever and now open the door magically opens.

If door to washer/dryer combo door won't open because it is locked, disconnect power to the unit for 1 minute. Once power is restored, try it again.
